University of the Third Age - Anton Branch, Andover, Hampshire, UK - Charity No. 1118642

We are one of two U3A groups in the Andover area, organised for and by local people who have retired full-time employment. 

Although the word ‘university’ is in our name, no qualifications are needed to join and being a member does not involve any formal learning, exams or homework. 

We come together to pursue hobbies and new interests, drawing on the skills, interests and enthusiasms of each other. Our learning is for pleasure and for fun.

If you are retired, why not come along and try us out.

Our aim is to give retired people the opportunity to participate, enjoy and broaden their interests, knowledge and experience in the company of like-minded people.

Information

Our monthly meetings, where all members meet together and hear interesting speakers, are at Burghclere Down Community Hall, Berry Way, Andover, SP10 3RZ on the 2nd Wednesday of each month at 2pm.

Updating of Web Site

Members can apply to the Web Master (see contacts) for log in capabilities, which will enable you to change these pages, or add new ones.

It's easy. Go to the page you want to change, click on Edit, make your changes, then click on Save. To create a new page, click on New Page, type in whatever you want to say, then click on Save. To add a new page to the Sidebar, so we can access it, click on Sidebar, Edit Page, add the name of the new page (in square brackets), then click on Save. If you've forgotten what you've called the page, click on "show all" on the sidebar when you are editing, and a list of all the pages appears.
